I haven't really done anything related to ponies or drawing recently. Between some college work, Skyward Sword, family, SSBB, PS3 and a whole host of other stuff, I've been pretty booked. But that being said, I do have SOME pony related news to share...
I am totally getting a Pinkie plush! It looks adorable and is actually affordable! Compared to some of those plushies that go for $400-$2000 dollars on eBay, Pinkie can really hold up to the same level of quality. And did I mention the price? It's actually reasonable! She's getting here sometime this week, so I'll post up pictures (with all the work attributed to the creator of course) and talk a bit more about her when she get's here. I also plan to spread some of this great news around Reddit and a few other places. It seriously amazes me that this guy doesn't get more traffic considering the amazing quality and price!
Another Pinkamena should go up eventually. I have a sketch that's a bit more well done and will have darker lines and no shading that I'll scan for vectoring. Then I'll trace and scale it in Illustrator (If I figure it out) and blow it up. I want a huuuuuuuuuuuge Pinkamena! Then for funzies, I'll probably shade it with my sketch pencils and blend sticks, then scan that. I'm interested in starting to use ink instead of pencil for darkening my lines, but I'm unsure which sort of pen to use, where to get one and what benefits it provides over a pencil. Oh well. Small photos of sketches may go up sometime too. I bought a small, hardcover sketchbook which seems like it may be difficult to scan with. Its mostly going to be used to doodle and play around with things. A visual diary of sorts!
